LAKES ESCONDIDO & FAGNANO OFF-ROAD

This is an adventure tour, from the beginning to the end, surrounded by nature and incredible landscapes. We begin the excursion, driving along National Route No. 3 in a northerly direction, towards the Escondido and Fagnano lakes. We make the first stop in the Carbajal Valley tourism, where we can appreciate the peat bogs, with a magnificent view of the Andean mountain range and mountain glaciers. We continue along the same route and stop at the Las Cotorras winter center, where we take a guided tour of the Husky dog breeding center. Then, we go on a trip and stop at Cerro Castor, one of the most important alpine ski centers in Argentina, so you can take some photos. Then we resume our journey, leaving the valleys behind and arriving at the mountainous area, precisely the Garibaldi Pass, the limit of the Andean mountain range, where we can appreciate beautiful landscapes. Here we do the "off road" passing through an inactive area of the beaver dam and then descending to reach the lookout point. Then, we go to the viewpoint "La Herradura" and we have a wonderful image of Lake Escondido. There we begin our 4x4 “off-road” adventure, where we go through off-road circuits until we reach La Carmen, at the Los Álamos ranch, making a stop for a hot drink and we can do some hiking on the shore of Lake Fagnano. or on the roads that are in the ranch. After that, we stop for lunch and remember the good times during the tour.
